Landscape Painter
Artist Statement
I see the horizon is a powerful symbol of possibility and renewal. Having navigated the profound changes of life post-menopause, I create art with a purpose: to inspire and motivate those in midlife to rediscover themselves during this transformative time. My work captures the beauty of transition—the space between where we’ve been and where we’re going. In sweeping landscapes, luminous color, and shifting light I create paintings that reflect the resilience and limitless potential of stepping into a new chapter in life. My paintings are inspired by the place where land and sky embrace—a symbolic space that invites reflection and renewal. Using acrylic, printmaking and a wide range of mixed media techniques. Layers of colour and texture reflect both the physical landscape and the emotional landscapes we navigate in life. The movement of paint mirrors the movement of change, sometimes fluid, sometimes turbulent, but always leading us forward.
